Where Artfork's ambitions leave the screen: a mentorship-residency program taking shape in Laos, and real exhibitions and events already running through the platform.
REAL GROUND
Artfork isn't only a digital ledger. A mentorship-residency program is taking shape in Laos, built around established artists, local professionals, and a future cohort of students, one season at a time, in the same country where the platform itself is rooted.
It started as the founder's original idea for a physical art school. This program is that idea, continued, not a pivot away from it.
A photography exhibition marking the bicentennial of the medium, focused on Southeast Asia, is already in development through Artfork's Event Manager, with an open call live now. Curators, sponsors, and volunteers are credited the same way a collaborator on a seed is: named, scoped, and never owning the work by default.
Series, contests, and exhibitions run on the same ledger as everything else on Artfork. Real events, real credit, real equity, not a separate system bolted on afterward.
Join artists across 10 disciplines building a fairer way to make things together.
